Place yoghurt into a medium size bowl and stir.
In another bowl, combine plain flour, baking powder and salt.
Add flour to the yoghurt and use a rubber spatula to combine until the dough starts to form into a ball.
Tip out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 2-3 minutes. If the dough sticks to your hands, add a little more flour.
Divide the dough into 6 equal parts. Lightly grease a work surface with oil then use a rolling pin to roll out each ball of dough into approx. 12cm rounds.
Heat a frypan to medium heat, add a flatbread and cook each side for 50-60 seconds until cooked through and lightly browned. Repeat with the remaining flatbreads.
Brush with butter and garlic mixture (optional) as soon as the flatbreads come out of the frying pan.
